Biloxi Bacon Crostinis

A simple, smoky bite with a Gulf Coast twist.

Ingredients
  • 1 baguette, sliced into thin rounds
  • Olive oil (for brushing)
  • Cream cheese (softened)
  • Biloxi Bacon (vacuum-sealed smoked mullet filet), sliced
  • Gherkin dill pickles, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • Pickled red onions (for garnish)
Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and toast until golden (about 8–10 minutes). 
  • Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each crostini.
  • Top with sliced Biloxi Bacon.
  • Garnish half with sliced dill pickles and the others with pickled red onions for a colorful variety.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy with your favorite beverage.
Serving Idea: Perfect for entertaining, these crostinis pair beautifully with crisp white wine or an ice-cold beer.
